Over the course of this year, you have explored how to tell your own story, how authors tell other people’s stories, and what makes some stories stand the test of time. During this final quarter of Writing through World Literature, you will have the opportunity to investigate the following questions about how stories can be woven from research to defend your opinions and help you create positive change in your world:

 

• How do non-fiction texts influence our lives?

• How can readers tell if an author is biased?

• How do writers use research to defend a position?
