Social Justice Advocacy Study

Social Justice is the idea that everyone deserves equal economic, political, and social rights and opportunities. In the second part of this unit, you will become an advocate for a social justice issue of your choice. Part II of the unit will include an informative outline and an advocacy piece of writing.

 

You will:

• investigate social justice issues and choose one of particular interest.

• design research questions on your topic.

• create a body of research based on a variety of sources.

• evaluate the research and write a persuasive brief.

• investigate what can be done to advocate on the issue.

• design and create a piece of writing that advocates for your social justice issue.

• evaluate and reflect on what you learn, both individually and from your peers.
