Assessment Tasks

 

• We will work on analyzing the significant aspects of Antigone and Romeo and Juliet by using readers' theater, performance, and close-reading tasks. 

 

• Once we finish studying Antigone, you will complete an in-class analysis of how one of the archetypal characters develops in the play.

 

• At the end of our study of Romeo and Juliet, you will write a comparison of one of the plays to another medium of your choice (art, music, poetry, film).

 

• During our study of the classics, you will defend why a selected classic item should be included in our Museum of Classics through a quarter-long project.
